Welcome to the first edition of the CoffeeGuy eNewsletter.
When I look back at my original business plan for the original 36 square shop I have a chuckle at how things are so fluid.
This was my original business plan.
"Coffeeguy is the local domestic coffee brewing specialist, able to advise on best techniques of brewing, with a focus on domestic espresso equipment, also offering the occasional coffee to customers".
Well despite the significant changes over the last 4 years, I'm now wanting to get back to my roots. I've decided to include in the Roastery, a new domestic espresso machine training are as well as our display for top end home espresso machines. I'm hoping to have this completed by end of Febuary.
Due to the number of inquiries we get for Domestic Barista courses, I will be beginning our "BARISTA DOMESTICA" and "COFFEA PARTICULAROUS" courses in the second quarter of 2011.
These will be designed for the Domestic consumer, not a commercial machine course adapted for home users.
Classes will probably consist of up to 8 people, and run for 1.5 - 2 hours on Saturday afternoons and weeknights.
Bookings will be essential.
